some call it voyeurism, so call it exhibitionism, but you have to admit, the caucasian kids, on the whole, seem to be the oweners of a higher level of self-esteem, self-confidence. they seem to walk with an air of "awesome-ness". No, i'm not paying homage to the awesomeness or the supremacy of caucasians, but instead i just realised what makes them more showy.
Over on YouTube, there's a series of videos over a kid, Nina, who is the daughter of a caucasian man and a japanese woman. That's the answer, i thought of.

That's the answer to them being a tad more self-confident as compared to Asians...
At home, they are the stars of their own homevideo. That's also why singapore's own version of the show never really took off. We aren't conditioned as showmen or women who like to "show off".
Perhaps, show off is not an appropriate word, perform... i think will make the cut.
In some ways, i believe when you can master enough confidence to stare into that lens to communicate what you think, you'd definitely reach a whole new level of confidence. Think about that from a kid's perspective, from the time they were young they have been conditioned to be infront of the camera...
So, peeps, when you have your kid, skip the drama lessons, skip the NLP, go for that handycam, make your kid the star at home...
one word of advice, becareful what you wish for, cuz you just might get it...
